Walk on the gold sand of Playa El Agua, or recline on a deck chair at one of many restaurants sheltered by huge palm trees. The 4 km (2.5 mi) long strand of sand, lined with bars, restaurants, and shops, remains the most popular resort on Margarita Island, favored by locals and tourists alike. Watch the local anglers or cool off with a freshly squeezed juice or coconut milk. If you wish to take a dip, note that the seabed is quite uneven and jagged in this area, where many undercurrents can interfere with your swimming. • Awesome beach the waves are high and strong currents long sandy beach. Very beautiful... there are several parkings no charge usually $1 to $2 dollar tip. Also there are some type of restaurants and places that rent umbrellas and chairs in the beach for $10 each they offer food and drinks. You can take your own food and drinks... the downside of it all is the posible fraud be wary of seafood vendors at the beach they sell very over priced and usually charge way more money d the consumption example lets say they count oysters be very aware you tell them to count the dozen and so on don't let them sit there with you because they'll charge you $3 to $4 the dozen but when they count they'll tell you they served you around 10 dozens be very careful with this and also with other vendors i recommend taking your own food and drinks vendors also be aware beggars will approach you and invade you're space to ask for money or anything they see on your table. So in general awesome beach be careful with scams always ask for prices and count the items...
