  • We really enjoyed our visit which was nostalgic. It’s a park I had visited frequently growing up. The paths made access easy and there was lots to see - ducks, geese, herons, trees and shrubs...

  • Very very beautiful place with lots of green spaces and something for everyone. Great for dog walks, cycling, football and many sporting amenities. I could go on. And yes there is a ping pong table. The lake has lovely ducks and if you are Lucy you might spot a squirrel or two in the hoods. The park is well kept and the toilets were also very clean. I was impressed. My kids loved the play area with lots of slides, swings other playing equipment.
  • This is such a beautiful park, with a lot of history behind it. It’s perfect for a walk in any season, but at this time of year it’s very quiet, with just the swans, geese, coots, ducks and squirrels for company. It’s a very well established park, with lots of different paths and areas to walk through and enjoy. It’s a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and get back to nature for a short time.
