BrakeAway Bike Tours, London

Our family rates this as one of the top tours in London. It was easy to schedule and coordinate through email correspondence with Chris. He provided detailed instructions on where to meet and what to expect. We took this tour on a Friday afternoon in June, and our guide, Adam, was safety minded, and kept us off busy streets, so the family had no trouble following along (wife, kids ages 15 and 10, and myself). We got to see a lot of London, Adam was engaging with the kids, and we felt we really got a good feel for its history and layout. Plus the bike ride is a great way to get outdoors and get acclimated to the time difference (traveling from Austin, TX). I would highly recommend this for families and suggest taking the tour early in your itinerary as we did.

Such a fun afternoon cycling to all the known sites in town via back streets only a good tour guide knows the existence of. Kids (9,12) thought it was cool too which was an added bonus. We all brushed up on our London historical knowledge with the fun and detailed anecdotes from Patrick, our very knowledgeable guide. Bikes come in all sizes and are very comfortable and easy to get on and off of. We will come again soon to do the east London tour. Thanks again!
