Tbilisi — 8 nights

On the bank of the Mtkvari River and at the foot of Trialeti mountain range, Tbilisi's location has given the city strategic significance since it was founded in the 5th century.Visit David Gareja Monastery and Anchiskhati Basilica for their historical value. Explore hidden gems such as Alaverdi St. George Cathedral and Shumi Winery. Venture out of the city with trips to Mtskheta (Jvari Church, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, &more), Shuamta Monasteries (in Telavi) and Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble (in Ananuri). Pack the 2nd (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Aerial Tramway in Tbilisi. And it doesn't end there: pause for some serene contemplation at The Kashveti Church of St. George, explore the activities along Lisi Lake, take in the views from The Bridge of Peace, and do a tasting at Chateau Mukhrani.
