Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.
Step out of the city life by going to Praia da ursa and Nosso Tejo. Get some cultural insight at Mosteiro dos Jeronimos and Park and National Palace of Pena. Next up on the itinerary: stop by Alfama, make a trip to Belém Tower, take an in-depth tour of Carmo Archaeological Museum, and step into the grandiose world of Castelo de S. Jorge.

As the busy capital of São Miguel, Ponta Delgada represents the most visited place on the island. Known for its historical buildings, the city offers 17th- and 18th-century convents and churches, as well as cobbled pedestrian streets and hidden squares.
Get some cultural insight at Igreja do Santo Cristo and Nossa Senhora da Paz. Step out of the city life by going to Caldeira das Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo.
