Montenegro's top tourist destination, Budva draws big crowds with its pulsating nightlife and sun-kissed beaches.
Explore Budva's surroundings by going to Kotor (Kotor City Walls & Fortress, Bay of Kotor, &more), Njegoš Mausoleum (in Cetinje) and Our Lady of the Rocks (in Perast). There's much more to do: contemplate the long history of Budva Old Town, appreciate the history behind Ballet Dancer Statue, kick back and relax at Jaz Beach, and take in the exciting artwork at Magic Yard Gallery.

Ljubljana, Slovenia to Budva is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Ljubljana in July, expect Budva to be a bit warmer, temps between 38°C and 20°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Mon) so you can go by car to Žabljak.

Žabljak — 2 nights

A trip to Zabljak takes you to the north of the country, a mountainous region that's as steeped in great scenery and views as it is in history and culture.
Kick off your visit on the 26th (Tue): take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Bobotov Kuk. On the next day, explore the activities along Black Lake, explore the activities along Jablan Lake, then explore the activities along Valovito Lake, and finally take in the views from Đurđevića Tara Bridge.

Traveling by car from Budva to Žabljak takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Podgorica.

Podgorica — 2 nights

One of Europe's most relaxed and newest capital cities, Podgorica sits on the confluence of two rivers, with two sides of it offering two different options for exploring.
Start off your visit on the 28th (Thu): take in the spiritual surroundings of Ostrog Monastery. Here are some ideas for day two: get a dose of the wild on Skadar lake- Boat cruise VIKTOR, explore the activities along Lake Skadar, and then snap pictures at Virpazar Stone Bridge.
