Schleswig is a town in the northeastern part of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. On the 21st (Fri), don't miss a visit to Das Fischerviertel Holm, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Peter's Cathedral (Dom), and then get engrossed in the history at Schleswig-Holstein State Museums. Westerland is a seaside resort and a former municipality located on the German North Sea island of Sylt. Leuchtturm and Kirche St. Severin are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Hoernumer Odde and Braderuper Heide.
