Cascais — 5 nights

Town of Kings and Fishes
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Praia do Carvalhal and Santuario do Senhor Jesus da Pedra. Venture out of the city with trips to Nazare (Miradouro do Suberco, O Sitio, &more), Marinhas de Sal (in Rio Maior) and Monastery of Alcobaca (in Alcobaca). There's much more to do: stop by Primvs, appreciate the history behind Santuario Nacional de Cristo Rei, steep yourself in history at National Palace of Queluz, and stroll around Parque e Palacio de Monserrate.
