Grand Turk travel guide

Scuba & Snorkeling · Outdoor Activities · Kayaking & Canoeing
Home to the territory's capital city, Grand Turk has long been the territory's cultural and commercial center, and its modern developments and historical sites are testament to that fact. 18th and 19th century landmarks, built in typical colonial Bermudan style line the streets of the main town's historic center, now housing museums, inns, and governmental buildings. Primary among the attractions of Grand Turk is its surrounding marine environment, with whale watching tours, dives, and snorkeling trips top of many visitors' agendas. Said by some to be the landfall island of Christopher Columbus in 1492, come and work out the mystery for yourself, and see if Grand Turk could be the island known as Guanahani.
