Tbilisi to Shida Kartli Region is an approximately 1.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of train and taxi; or do a combination of bus and taxi. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Sun) early enough to drive to Tbilisi.

Take a break from Tbilisi with a short trip to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, about 40 minutes away. Pack the 11th (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Aerial Tramway in Tbilisi. There's much more to do: step into the grandiose world of Narikala Fortress, take in the views from The Bridge of Peace, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Tsminda Sameba Cathedral, and catch a ride on Tbilisi Funicular.
