Portoferraio, Elba Island — 5 nights

Portoferraio is a town and comune in the province of Livorno, on the edge of the eponymous harbour of the island of Elba. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Spiaggia Di Sansone and Spiaggia di Fetovaia. You'll get in some beach time at Spiaggia di Cavoli and Spiaggia Della Biodola. Step out of Portoferraio to go to Capoliveri and see Spiaggia Di Buzzancone o Cera, which is approximately 36 minutes away. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Spiaggia di Capo Bianco and stroll through Spiaggia di Seccione.
