One of the world's most ancient cities, Athens remains Europe's undisputed historical and cultural capital.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Fri): get engrossed in the history at Acropolis Museum and then admire the landmark architecture of Parthenon. Keep things going the next day: wander the streets of Plaka, have fun and explore at Hellenic Children's Museum, and then delve into the distant past at Acropolis of Athens.
