Palacio Nacional de Mafra and National Palace of Queluz will appeal to history buffs. Get in touch with nature at Baleal Beach and Praia da ursa. Go for a jaunt from Sintra to Caldas da Rainha to see Praia Foz do Arelho about 1h 15 min away. There's more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Guincho Beach.
