As the busy capital of São Miguel, Ponta Delgada represents the most visited place on the island.

Angra do Heroísmo, generally known as Angra, is a municipality and city on the island of Terceira in the Portuguese autonomous region of the Azores. Step out of Angra do Heroismo to go to Cabo Da Praia and see Ceramica da Praia, which is approximately 32 minutes away. There's still lots to do: get great views at Monte Brasil, enjoy the sand and surf at Praia dos Biscoitos, pause for some serene contemplation at Se Cathedral, and get close to the beloved marine mammals with a swim-with-the-dolphins experience.
