Geneva brings the world to one small city with a huge expat population and the highest number of international organizations in any one city.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Geneva: Chateau de Chillon (in Veytaux) and Montreux Lakeside (in Montreux). There's still lots to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Geneva, see the interesting displays at Patek Philippe Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedrale de Saint-Pierre, and pause for some photo ops at Reformation Wall.

Interlaken — 4 nights

Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Interlaken: Bern (Einstein House (Einsteinhaus), UNESCO-Altstadt von Bern, &more) and Grindelwald-First (in Grindelwald). Getting from Zermatt to Interlaken by train takes about 3 hours. Other options: drive. In June in Interlaken, expect temperatures between 26°C during the day and 13°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Engelberg.

Explore Engelberg's surroundings by going to Trift Bridge (in Gadmen), Meiringen (Restiturm & Alpbachschlucht) and Gletscherschlucht Rosenlaui (in Rosenlaui). There's lots more to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Titlis, explore the activities along Gelmersee, snap pictures at Titlis Cliff Walk, and admire all the interesting features of Furka Pass.
