Kotor — 6 nights

Perched on the edge of a fjord-like bay rimmed by rugged mountains, Kotor grew around a medieval settlement purposely built like a maze.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Our Lady of the Rocks and Zmajević Palace. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Miločer Park and Plavi Horizonti Beach. Change things up with these side-trips from Kotor: Lovćen National Park (in Cetinje) and Bečići Beach (in Bečići). There's still lots to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of St. Eustachius, explore the activities along Bay of Kotor, explore the historical opulence of Grubonja Palace, and explore the ancient world of St. Tryphon Cathedral.

To find where to stay, photos, maps, and more tourist information, you can read our Kotor online day trip planner.

Paris, France to Kotor is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Expect a bit warmer weather when traveling from Paris in May: highs in Kotor hover around 27°C, while lows dip to 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Fri) to allow time to drive to Ulcinj.
