Eternal City
Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.Do some cultural sightseeing at Colosseum and St. Peter's Basilica. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Centro Storico Associazione Centro Storico and Cupola di San Pietro. There's still lots to do: admire the landmark architecture of Pantheon, see the interesting displays at Stanze di Raffaello, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di San Pietro in Vincoli, and explore the galleries of Mercati di Traiano - Museo dei Fori Imperiali.
