City of Seven Hills

Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.
On the 7th (Wed), see Solfun Surf School, then tour the water at your own pace with Lisbon by Boat, then observe the fascinating underwater world at Lisbon Oceanarium, and finally don't miss a visit to Elevador de Santa Justa. Called "Oporto" by many, the city of Porto along the Duoro River lent the country and Port wine their names.

Though the town of Sagres has roots in the Portuguese Age of Discovery, it is better known by visitors as a peaceful, rugged resort spot with great surfing beaches.
