Big Small Town

The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Lake Zurich and Bahnhofstrasse. Change things up with these side-trips from Zurich: Mt Pilatus (in Kriens) and Lucerne (Chapel Bridge, Lake Lucerne, &more). Geneva brings the world to one small city with a huge expat population and the highest number of international organizations in any one city.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Tue): contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Geneva and then take in nature's colorful creations at Jardin Anglais. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 5th (Wed): pause for some photo ops at Reformation Wall, then ponder the design of The Geneva Water Fountain, then get a sense of history and politics at Palais des Nations, Genève, and finally see the interesting displays at International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum.
