Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.
You've added Quinta da Regaleira, Park and National Palace of Pena, Baja Bikes Lisbon, and other attractions to your itinerary. There's lots more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, stop by Alfama, take in the views from Vasco da Gama Bridge, and don't miss a visit to Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco).

Brussels, Belgium to Lisbon is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Brussels to Lisbon. In July, Lisbon is a bit warmer than Brussels - with highs of 34°C and lows of 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Tue) to allow enough time to fly to Faro.

The most well-known city in the Algarve, Faro boasts a cliffside location with popular beaches and a thriving cultural scene.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Dolphin & Whale Watching, Capela dos Ossos and Ria Formosa. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Praia de Cacela Velha and Garrao Nascente Beach. Visiting Tavira Island and Praia do Barril will get you outdoors. There's more to do: go for a stroll along the water at Marina de Vilamoura.

Portimao — 4 nights

Originally a small fishing village, Portimão today serves as one of the most populated towns in the Algarve and also a favorite spot for sailing.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Seven Hanging Valleys Trail, Praia do Camilo, Praia da Cordoama, and other attractions you added. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Praia da Marinha and Praia Da Rocha. Step out of the city life by going to Speed Boats Tours and Praia de Alvor. The adventure continues: stroll through Praia dos Tres Irmaos and take in the waterfront at Alvor Boardwalk.
