The capital city of Negros Occidental province, Bacolod boasts a rich foodie culture and vibrant festival scene, especially known for its annual festival of smiles.Kick off your visit on the 5th (Sun): take in the architecture and atmosphere at San Sebastian Cathedral, tour the pleasant surroundings at Butterfly Sanctuary at Mambukal Resort, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Bat Sanctuary, and finally contemplate the long history of The Ruins.

Manila to Bacolod is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also ride a ferry; or do a combination of bus and ferry. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Mon) so you can catch the flight to Cebu City.
