The capital city of Negros Occidental province, Bacolod boasts a rich foodie culture and vibrant festival scene, especially known for its annual festival of smiles.
Kick off your visit on the 5th (Sun): take in the architecture and atmosphere at San Sebastian Cathedral, tour the pleasant surroundings at Butterfly Sanctuary at Mambukal Resort, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Bat Sanctuary, and finally contemplate the long history of The Ruins.

Manila to Bacolod is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also ride a ferry; or do a combination of bus and ferry. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Mon) so you can catch the flight to Cebu City.

The country's second city, Cebu City boasts a number of interesting colonial buildings, thriving commercial areas, and historic temples.
When in Cebu City, make a side trip to see Lapu Lapu Statue in Lapu Lapu, approximately Lapu Lapu away. The adventure continues: browse the exhibits of Basilica del Santo Nino, push the limits with Sky Experience Adventure, take in the spiritual surroundings of Taoist Temple, and contemplate the long history of Magellan's Cross.

You can fly from Bacolod to Cebu City in 2.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of car and ferry; or take a bus. In February, plan for daily highs up to 35°C, and evening lows to 28°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sat) to allow enough time to fly to Manila.

Manila — 4 nights

The capital of the Philippines and the "Pearl of the Orient," Manila truly resembles a gem: rough on the outside, but glittering within.
Venture out of the city with trips to BGC (in Taguig City), Makati (Ayala Triangle Gardens, Greenbelt Mall, &more) and Taal Volcano (in Batangas City). There's much more to do: take a stroll through Intramuros, walk around Rizal Park, explore the activities along Manila Bay, and deepen your understanding at University of Santo Tomas.

You can fly from Cebu City to Manila in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can ride a ferry; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 36°C in February, and nighttime lows around 27°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Wed) to allow time to travel back home.
