Conques — 2 nights

Conques is a former commune in the Aveyron department in southern France, in the Occitanie region. Kick off your visit on the 9th (Tue): wander the streets of La Vinzelle and then admire the striking features of Eglise Abbatiale Sainte-Foy. On your second day here, pause for some serene contemplation at Eglise Notre Dame de Decazeville, then make a trip to Tours du Roc del Thaluc, then admire the natural beauty at Le Jardin de la Mothe, and finally take a stroll through Village de Conques.

Laguiole is a commune in the Aveyron department in southern France.It is known for its Laguiole cheese, which has an Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (label of guaranteed origin), and as the birthplace of the Laguiole knife. Change things up with these side-trips from Laguiole: Eglise Saint-Come-et-Saint-Damien (in Saint-Come-d'Olt), Clem Horse (in Saint Geniez d'Olt) and Le Canyon de Bozouls (in Bozouls).
