Athens, Greece to Salzburg is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. You'll gain 1 hour traveling from Athens to Salzburg due to the time zone difference. Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Athens in December: high temperatures in Salzburg hover around 6°C and lows are around -1°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 19th (Wed) so you can go by car to Hallstatt.

Drive from Salzburg to Hallstatt in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Wed) early enough to drive to Innsbruck.
