City of Seven Hills

Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.
Explore Lisbon's surroundings by going to Sintra (Quinta da Regaleira, Sintra National Palace, &more). There's lots more to do: get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Lisbon Oceanarium, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, see the interesting displays at Museu Nacional do Azulejo, and explore the historical opulence of Castelo de S. Jorge.

Stuttgart, Germany to Lisbon is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. You'll gain 1 hour traveling from Stuttgart to Lisbon due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Stuttgart in March, expect Lisbon to be a bit warmer, temps between 20°C and 10°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Sun) to allow time to drive to Lagos.

Getting from Lisbon to Lagos by car takes about 3 hours. Other options: take a bus; or take a train. In April in Lagos, expect temperatures between 24°C during the day and 15°C at night. On the 6th (Thu), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Faro.

The most well-known city in the Algarve, Faro boasts a cliffside location with popular beaches and a thriving cultural scene.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Thu): explore by horseback at Clube Equestre A Palmeirinha. On the 7th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, contemplate the long history of Old Town Faro, and then go for a stroll along the water at Marina de Vilamoura.
