  • Super mooi. Naar Ameland❤️☀️ If you want to get to the island and to be on Ameland you need to go this route.
  • Beatiful place to sail. It can get cold, it can get wet, so dress accordingly. Better to dress for a cold day and be able to take some clothes off than to go out on the Wadden Sea with shorts and a t-shirt because it's warm on shore. There's beatiful places to walk around when it's low tide and great animals to see and catch. There’s big crabs, shrimp and all kinds of fish. We did a 4 day trip on the Wadden Sea on the Noordvaarder from Rederij Vooruit in Harlingen. When we Did the Falling dry day, we caught shrimp and had a big pan full of small shrimp. Our crew was peeling all day!  The shipper of another boat told us he uses a net to catch crabs and makes a pot full of them for dinner. There’s many seals on the small sand banks. (these are not for eating!) They provide good entertainment for children and adults. Even though they just lay around and don’t do much. They’re fun and cute to see. This place is awesome to spend a few days of sailing and the islands provide good entertainment for in the evenings. (pubs, food, hotels) All-in all, a great place for a few days out in nature.
