  • Impromptu day trip to Lausanne from Geneva and we visited the Olympic Museum, which is timely. It was informative and had excellent displays of past Olympic events, athletes, medals, etc. There were lots of interactive activities & we especially enjoyed the exercises to test our balance and coordination. The outside was well maintained garden with architectural art and track.
  • An amazing history of the Olympic Games, the people that started it all, the amazing athletes, and the technology used to propel those athletes. One of the last exhibits, the medals, is second only to the actual equipment and clothing the athletes used and wore. I’m partial to US athletes and I was in awe of the shoe Jessie Owens wore. His achievements at the 1936 Olympic Games are historic and significant.
