Beautiful church whose facade was done by Gaudi. The inside is also worth visiting and about the legend of the miracle of the St Michael which is at the top of the main altar.

Beautiful exterior facing the town square. Great views as approaching from the train, but also a great spot to hang out at the front on the steps and watch the town. Many people were there doing just that. Catching some shade and admiring the architecture. A beautiful piece of art in a beautiful Majorcan town. You can’t miss it if in the area.

You can visit this church for different reasons. To admire the 1904 facade by a disciple of Gaudi, to watch the historic trams go by, to marvel at the ornate side chapels featuring numerous saints, to be impressed by the huge altar, or to be charmed by the rainbow colored Rosetta window. Entry fee 1 euro.
