Admire original Roman architecture at Acueduct of Segovia, which is widely considered one of the most significant and best-preserved ancient monuments left in Spain. Marvel at the 166 stone arches of age-old engineering that transported water into the city for over 18 centuries. You can walk the entire 17 km (11 mi) of the aqueduct or just visit the portion that towers over the center of the city. Stop and have a coffee in Azoguejo Square, where the full splendor of this monument is visible. • Impressive ancient structure right in the city. Quite a long stretch is still standing after thousands of years. Great spot to take selfies with this as the backdrop.

  • This was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. The aqueduct is absolutely massive and it's truly a feat of Roman engineering, especially considering it was built nearly 2,000 years ago!. Hard to describe even through pictures how impressive the scale of this is, let alone how well it's been preserved. You don't have to be a history buff to check this one out, highly recommend!
  • The Aqueduct of Segovia is a fabulous place to visit. Segovia is steeped in history and definitely worth exploring. The castle is magnificent and a definite building to visit. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from too. A fun day out for all the family, we even took our dog on our last visit.
