Acueduct of Segovia
Admire original Roman architecture at Acueduct of Segovia, which is widely considered one of the most significant and best-preserved ancient monuments left in Spain. Marvel at the 166 stone arches of age-old engineering that transported water into the city for over 18 centuries. You can walk the entire 17 km (11 mi) of the aqueduct or just visit the portion that towers over the center of the city. Stop and have a coffee in Azoguejo Square, where the full splendor of this monument is visible. Add Acueduct of Segovia and other attractions to your Segovia trip itinerary using our Segovia trip planner.

Majestic monument. It is amazing that this is still working. It is the first thing that welcomes you to Segovia when you arrive. Multiple places for great photo ops. I prefer going up the stairs on the right side for an excellent top view of the aqueduct. I also used my phone in panoramic mode to capture the height of the aqueduct.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. The aqueduct is absolutely massive and it's truly a feat of Roman engineering, especially considering it was built nearly 2,000 years ago!. Hard to describe even through pictures how impressive the scale of this is, let alone how well it's been preserved. You don't have to be a history buff to check this one out, highly recommend!
