Botanical Gardens (Jardin Botanico), Puerto de la Cruz

Trees, shrubs and many other plants abound; unusual and pretty specimens, but not much in the way of information. The pamphlet given for the 3€ entrance fee doesn't add anything except a poor map and tree names in English and is difficult to follow because it doesn't give the Latin names that are on the signs. A shame that more isn't made of this potentially lovely area. It needs more TLC and someone to make it easier, more informative and appealing. Better marketing would then make it an attraction also.

Fascinating place! I think this place is underrated.. If you are a plant lover or/and you enjoy nature this is the place for you. They have the giant version of the plants we all try to keep alive in our apartments. Very old trees with impressive roots, massive monsteras and philodendrons. You also have QR codes to scan with some explanations regarding the main attractions.
