A major renovation project in 2003 gave Museu Fundacion Juan March Palma a new exhibition space and an assembly hall for its educational programs and events. Take a peek at the attraction's website for an event calendar, or to sign up for a workshop or lecture--these events take place regularly throughout the year. The permanent collection represents the finest in Spanish creativity, with works by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí, and Juan Gris. These masters are displayed not far from the work of a new generation of artists, who reflect the museum's dedication to the development of new art movements. • I really appreciate a well-curated, smaller art museum, and this is a gem. Very strong collection, and I enjoyed the mansion as well, which is a modern take on a traditional Mallorcan townhouse...

  • A true Mallorcan pearl! Beautiful location, a thoughtfully planned exhibition, lovely competent staff and free admission. They even give you lockers for your bags (well, that's compulsory). The guide to the exhibition was a short but engaging leaflet with much food for thought, plus the virtual tour. A good hour needed, even more if you engage deeply with the multiple perspectives. The leaflet would be very stimulating for young people and children! Artworks are stimulating and their installation flawless.
