Puerto de Málaga is the oldest continuously operated seaport in Spain. Nestled on the Costa del Sol, it serves as a port of call for many cruises. The port’s history stretches back to the Phoenicians and Carthaginians. If you’re up for a walk, head all the way out to the lighthouse and the sandy beach. Or, avoid the summer heat beneath the misters while strolling around this charming seaport, then grab a bite to eat in one of the many fine restaurants. • Great place for an evening scroll when the sun is setting and it feels cooler The summer fair also holds their midnight fireworks here It is extremely safe anytime of the year although extremely...

  • Such a nice place in Malaga to just walk around in, or sit at a bar having a drink. Many different restaurants to choose from and from here there are also a few boat-trips around Malaga-area...

  • Nice place for walk at sunset. Cafes/bars along this route can be pricey - ie tourist prices.
  • Lovely port for a surprisingly wonderful port city. Yes, it is a long 30 minute walk from the port to the town and parks.... BUT their port is one of the nicest we have seen. Shops, bathrooms, restaurants, art installations, and covered walkways. This was a pleasure to walk through and clearly an attraction for residents AND tourists. This port was a real surprise for us and we strongly recommend you stay in town if you have never been here. Lovely and adorable ancient town with intact walls, gardens, old city center and markets, churches, palaces, and a castle. Almost a fairy tale like town. Save Granada and Cordoba for later and enjoy this great town!
