Create an itinerary including Faunia
Faunia, a botanical garden and zoo covering 14 hectares (35 acres), actually feels smaller and more interactive than a typical zoo. You’ll find all types of animals here, but highlights include an black agouti, several varieties of penguins, and a bat enclosure. Zookeepers give informative talks about manatees, Komodo dragons, and wallabies. Check the official website to see if an event coincides with your visit. The majority of installations are covered, so it’s a comfortable stop on both sunny and rainy days. Faunia is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , international travel planner Edition.

  • Faunia is well construed and designed, showing the animals and plants in their respective climate zones. Red panda is especially sweet. This visit could complement a zoo visit rather than fully...

  • I love this place if you come with children. It doesn’t feel like the traditional zoo, but more like a theme park. It’s full of exotic animals and shows over the day. It’s a great place to let children learn and love animals than normally the would never see.
  • I prefer the other zoo but this place has a lot of fun activities and interactive shows for kids. The exhibits are quite elaborate but I found it to be a bit claustrophobic since you’re being funneled into each exhibit which are mostly indoors. I still give it 5 stars because there’s plenty of parking, which was free at the time and it’s well located next to more open space parks great for picnics/outdoor parties. Great family weekend plan.
