  • Makes one realise that all of history is literally under one's feet. Very well and interestingly presented.

  • Relatively small museum dedicated to archaeological discoveries in Cordoba. Remains of the Roman city can be seen in the basement. In general, you can skip it. Free for citizens of the European Union.

  • It's really interesting to see the evolution of Cordoba from prehistory until the present day. They really try to give you a feel of how it would have been to live during all these different ages. And it's free
  • Admission was free on the Saturday we went. Not sure if this is normal but was a pleasant surprise. They have an amazing collection of artifacts from all periods of Andalucian history from the prehistoric era, to the Iberians, Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Visigoths, and Moors. Most of the information plaques were also in English, which was helpful. Highly recommend a visit here if you are in Córdoba even for a short day trip. Can easily go through in a hour.
