Small, family run business with some 140 years of history, focused on quality rather than quantity. Bruno was a fantastic host, very patient and willing to transfer his knowledge of the wine making process to his guests. We could enjoy the tasting experience at the nice patio, but the atmosphere indoors was also cozy and intimate. The movers pack (26€) is a good way to taste all different kinds of Porto wine; all of them were excellent in their own way. We were also lucky to enjoy a treat as well. Recommend!

I'll be honest. I generally don't care for port but this experience blew me away! Upon entering, Sandra friendly greeted us and sat us in the back. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Small but super comfortable and very well decorated and designed. After ordering both the white and tawny port, she came out with all the bottles and laid out all the bottles on an empty table next to us and gave us wonderful description of all 8 bottles! Out favorite ended up being her favorite, the 20 yr white which absolutely blew my mind!. All the white ports we tasted was absolutely stunning with how balanced it all was! The 10-40yr tawny tasting was a treat and the 40 was history! Thank you for everything and even letting us stay later than closing(we were the last table). We ended up buying 12 bottles to ship back to the states and most of all, support smaller producers!!! Absolutely amazing stuff!
