Hitch a ride on the funicular, or hike your way up to the summit, where you'll find medieval fortifications, 17th-century churches, and modern shrines. Wander the courtyards and plazas surrounded by ornate structures, basilicas, and statues. Feel free to stop in and pay your respects at one of the many chapels. Lots of vendors, food alternatives, and a spectacular place to people watch Oh, yeah, the view down to the ocean is pretty spectacular. This is not where you go to watch the crazed surfers.

This was a great place to visit. Expect normal tourist trap crowds. A fun walk down and a bit of a tough walk back up. Absolutely worth it to see the biggest waves in the world!
