Green cliffs, red stone chasms, and sharp rocks protruding from the ocean foam make Ponta de Sao Lourenco a wonder that is virtually free from human influence. The area overlooks the north and south parts of the island, and on particularly clear days you can see Porto Santo in the distance. Follow a wooden boardwalk along the ridge over secluded beaches, ocean grottos, and volcanic cliffs. You'll cross valleys lined with palm trees and reach heights of 200 m (650 ft), where only the air separates you from the ocean surface. Bring plenty of water. An amazing walk along a beautiful landscape. One of my favourite places to visit. I'd saw the walk is moderate difficulty due to the steepness but definitely worth it.

Great views and quite easy to reach the end with good footwear. Be sure to have swimwear as there is a nice cove with clear inviting water to cool down and a cafe for drinks and snacks.

We arrived around 13h to the parking and it was pretty crowded, but you can easily find a parking spot somehow. The walk is not so difficult, until the end where there is a high hill. The rest of the way is just up and down so you can catch your breathe easily. We did it in 3h walking pretty relaxing. In the end there is a small cafe with some food and drinks. I recommend taking a jacket since it can get fresh with the wind

Drop off from the 113 bus and you can't miss the start of the walk. From there the walk is about an hour long with great views throughout. It's reasonably easy walking until you get towards the end. There is a restaurant and following that, the last 10% of the walk is a steep incline that almost requires some climbing or very careful stepping and balancing. Nice view from the end.
