Mercado Municipal de Loulé (Desde 1908)
The Loulé Municipal Market is one of the town's landmarks. It is a lively place for the dissemination of culture, where side by side can be found traditional and biological commerce. It frequently stages events of different areas. In 2007, it won the Prize Turismo de Portugal.
Designed by Architect Alfredo Costa Campos at the end of the 19th century , it was opened in June 27, 1908. It has an neo-arabian and Art Nouveau eclectic mix of styles, and the result is still striking today.

The market is fully wheelchair accessible with a flat entrance at the back of the market. The Municipality recently renovated the toilets installing a fully accessible wheelchair toilet. All stall and shops are ground floor and accessible.The street surrounding the market is lined with vendors on Saturday, while there are some cobbles the entree area is flat and footpath have ramps at pedestrian crossings.

Great day out, produce was amazing, fresh fish, vegetables... In fact everything was great. Worth a visit if you're staying on the Algarve.
