We walked through Funchal and found this lovely park, It was a warm Sunday afternoon and there were fine views across the Harbour as well as appreciating the plants and ponds within the park.

Nice park in the city centre of Funchal. Full of flowers, trees, lizards, birds, butterflies etc. Park is very well kept, very clean. Public toilet, two places where you can drink tea, poncha or coffee. Many benches where you can sit and admire the landscape/nature. Good view for the port. I like this place.

A stunning large park set on a hill with beautiful views of Funchal and the harbor. There are numerous benches, a pond with birds and grassy areas to enjoy. A treasure this close to the old part of town and a beautiful place to come.
