Quinta Do Canhoto, Albufeira

Beautiful place with interesting, modern architecture and technology, a family company with high ambitions and full of enthusiasm and love for their wines. Excellent wine tasting, combined with delicious local dishes and good presentations. I can highly recommend a visit!

A truly nice experience. It was an amazing afternoon we spent at Quinta do Canhoto. Joana and Edgar were very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. They explained the history, challenges and progress of the making wine in their winery. They were very informative, taking time to answer all questions, showing the different stages of wine making production. The wine tasting was one of the best I have been, not only because the wines have great quality but also because there was no rush and the tasting was accompanied by tasty tapas style food. The wine was absolutely fantastic and I must say that supplanted by far my expectations of an Algarve wine. Just a word for the friendly and kindness manners of Joana and Edgar, well done, your hard work and vision, it is clearly noticed in your amazing final product. Very, very, very good… Thanks
