Create an itinerary including Big Lagoon
The tranquil turquoise-green waters of Big Lagoon lie tucked between magnificent limestone cliffs fringed by tropical vegetation. Showcasing a kaleidoscope of marine life, the spot provides an excellent diving and snorkeling opportunity. Cruise into it with a catamaran and hop off the boat for a pleasant swim, or kayak around to explore all the shades of blue and caves under the dramatically ridged cliffs. Set in the midst of karst formations sheltering clear waters, the lagoon is a breeding ground for numerous fish and crustaceans. Tours usually include an adventure to the island's smaller lagoon nearby and fresh seafood treats. Make Big Lagoon a part of your El Nido vacation plans using our El Nido trip planner.

  • Absolutely stunning landscape, the lagoon is very big so you can spend a long time paddling around with the kayak. Make sure to take a private boat and not a big group tour, so you can avoid big...

  • Been here twice and though it's fun, the crowds can be overwhelming. I'd rather sit on a quiet beach and enjoy the waters

  • A must see in El Nido. Bookable on Tour A which should cost around 1200 pesos per person. Water is incredibly clear and warm, beautiful spot for kayaking, swimming and soaking up the serenity
  • Looks like paradise , the torquoise water, the scenery, everythings perfect. Kayaking feels like you are on the top of an aquarium. You can clearly see anything below. The cave passage is a plus.
