  • We took a tour which was very informative. Our driver was always talking about the history of the town and places that we should visit.

  • Lots of colorful things to see (buy) and specialities to taste in a nice building, but at a price. Some reviewers get confused because of the picture with the horse carriage. It has nothing to do...

  • Nice selection, interesting art but not cheap for Nicaragua. It's worth a look.
  • "Small Prices, Great Treasures ... and not only !!!" This store is one of a kind. At first it seems that you are entering an art gallery (due to the large paintings on the walls and the way of presenting the products on display), then you realize that it is a store that offers much more than just souvenirs. In fact everything is created so that the visitor can live a unique experience: the decoration, the paintings and the products themselves, indeed, represent a historical and cultural journey of Nicaragua that goes from prehistoric times to colonial times, passing through pre-Columbian times! Mammoth, witness of prehistory, indigenous Chiefs (Caciques) and Feathered Serpent (Quetzalcoatl) from the pre-Columbian era, Pirates, Galleons, Chests with treasures, old maps from the colonial era and more details ... appear both in the paintings and in a very wide range of products (hand-painted ceramics, hammocks, old-style maps, t-shirts with various images of prehistoric animals and / or Nicaraguan fauna, objects carved in wood, chocolates, jams, cigars (Nicaraguan cigars are very well known ) and the widest selection of gourmet coffees, make this store a really special place that is worth visiting (even without buying anything). The very friendly staff explains (if you want) the meaning of the paintings and also invite you to visit the rest of the Palace (neo-classic with a view of the cathedral and the very beautiful park) completely free of charge! Ah I almost forgot .... all edible products (Chile, coffee, chocolate, liquor, jams ... and something else that I don't remember) can be tasted without any commitment !!! I have honestly traveled to different continents of the world and something like that is not seen that often ... maybe it is just not seen!
