    I lived in Tobruk in the 60's and passed this cemetery every day. It has been kept clean and tidy for years thanks to the British government. Very sad seeing all the graves of the very young brave...

    Official name: Tobruk War Cemetery (1939-1945). In year 1981 very well maintained. Libyan people really took care of it.

    I was in Tobruk in 1981. The cemetery made a great impression on me. I came on a tour from Tripoli where I was employed by Dromex.
