Our stay at Guardastelle was amazing. This family run business is very well managed and we’re super helpful. We came here for our honeymoon and the staff were super nice and friendly. We stayed in their apartment which is a separate housing unit on the property with great A/C units which we gladly used due to the heat wave. We were steps away from the pool (great temperature for hot days) and vineyard. We also did the their wine tour which included a tour of the vineyard and ended with a set lunch with 5 different wine tastings. The food was exceptional and the wines as well. Their olive oil is to die for. The proximity of their place is close to San Gimignano (25 min walk) and close/easy to get to the highways (we rented a car and travelled to nearby places). The views of the country side are incredible and breathtaking. We hope to visit again and will be telling all our friends about it.
What a wonderful experience. Fausto and his staff were amazing, the tour was informative and the wine tasting and Tuscan lunch were fabulous. We really enjoyed learning how the wines are made as well as the family history of Guardastelle Vineyards. If we are fortunate enough to come back to Italy our trip will most certainly include a stay here too. The grounds and the facilities are impeccable and the location is great. You are only a short drive to San Gimignano and conveniently located between Florence and Siena. We couldn't have asked for anything better, Thank you
