A well maintained geographical area of steam vents and hot mud pools. Lots of parking and good walking boards and hand rails. You can get quite close but still feel safe. Unfortunately, on our visit..... more

This was one of the bigger geothermal areas we visited. It was a decently far drive to get here but it was worth it. There is a long walking path through the area and many different spots to see. The region around this destination is very nice as well with places you can stop as well. I would recommend stopping here if you are in the area. There is a high platform at the top which also gives you good views of the area.

Geothermal areas are always very interesting. There are definitely better ones than this one but parking is free and it takes less than 10 minutes to walk around the lower area. You can also walk a little longer to get to a few more up top.
