Laura's Herb & Spice Garden
Abundant with trees, plants, and green grassy fields, Laura's Herb & Spice Garden invites you to treat your taste buds to a range of herbs and spices in over 6.5 acres (2.6 ha) of garden. Learn about spices, their uses, what they look like in their natural state, and about old remedies with your guide. Find cocoa, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, turmeric, and Tonka beans. Great experience to see how all the herbs and spices grow, and to taste and smell everything. Great tour and a nice gift shop with spices produced on site, plus Grenadian chocolate.

What a great experience learning about all the spices and there medicinal purposes.. The guide was very informative and offered a great presentation.. the grounds are beautiful and the facility was clean.. we drove there in our own and it was only 10 EC a person and the tour lasted about a half hour. They have a nice gift shop in the main office to buy spices .. I recommend this place for anyone wanting a feel for why they call Grenada the spice Island ..

This is exactly what it says on the tin. An extensive herbal and spice garden with a serious range of fruits, nuts and herbs/spices. Tour guide is extremely knowledgable which makes the tour very insightful. I would advise visitors to wear shoes not sandals/flip flops as the paths a natural nutmeg paths. Only down side is the gift shop was very disappointing. A fun trip out for only an hour and affordable!
