Windward facing and looking out toward the Atlantic Ocean, Bathway Beach features strong currents and rough waves meeting a long stretch of sand. To the north side of the beach, a rock formation breaks the waves and creates a natural pool roughly 9 m (30 ft) long, with safe swimming conditions. Bring plenty of sun screen as shade on the beach is minimal. Restaurants and facilities sit closeby, but consider bringing your own water and some snacks. There was no-one on this beach except for a security guy who was there, I guess, to protect turtles. Lovely views - take your own drinks etc. though!

Beautiful water. Rocks guard surf so can swim in front of them. Lifeguards on duty 6am -6pm. Food and drink available. Nice little visitor center with interesting information. Picnic tables to enjoy..... more

I actually really like the place. Lots of space to run and have fun and relax and just chill. The view is just magical, try going in the morning amd you will be blown away by the natural magical art of the whole scenery. The water is warm even in the night, maybe its just me but the water is warm. It's reasonable in roughness, not always calm but it not very rough too, it makes for a good place to really play in the water and have fun. The sand is nice and what and beautiful. The beach is perfect for a drink with friends for a BBQ with the family all of that is perfect for the beach. Try it out.

I have recently visited that beautiful place by sharing hiking, walking and running activities with the facebook group called: Grenada Hash House Harriers of which I am a member and in which various activities are organized every Saturday in different parts of the island, really I recommend them to all my Google followers.
