A review says it is a dead source. I can't confirm that, it bubbled happily with me. It is likely to dry out in the summer. This is the southeast of the two Fulda springs. It was named the official source because it is easily accessible directly on the main road. In German thoroughness the source was square-practically-well edged in gray Rhön rock (I suspect). The poem on the Fulda spring is very beautiful, it obviously refers to the poem on the Weserstein in Hann. Münden where the Fulda ends. Despite the proximity to the street, the place is a cozy resting place.

Not far from the Wasserkuppe is the source of the Fulda as a small trickle, unfortunately the information board is no longer clearly legible
