Interesting museum showing the history of (unpowered) flight. A large amount of (model)planes on display. Not nearly as busy as the other sightseeing places in the area.

An outstanding museum of early flight. You don't need to be an aviator to appreciate it. Wasserkuppe is off the beaten track for most tourists but it is well worth the drive. Be sure to visit Peterschens Restaurant while on the mountain. The scenery from the mountain alone is worth your while.
