Konigsallee, Dusseldorf

Nicknamed the Ko by the locals, Konigsallee is the busiest upscale shopping street in the country. A landscaped canal runs along the center of this urban boulevard. Fashion showrooms and luxury retail stores stretch along its sides. High-end stores and small boutiques dominate the eastern side of this stretch, which is some 80 m (262 ft) wide and about 1 km (0.6 mi) long.
