St. Michael's Church
St. Michael's Church was built atop the highest of the seven hills in Bamburg in the 12th century. Follow the old, cobbled road up the hill from the cathedral, past ancient houses to the church, with all of Bamburg below you. Take some time to explore the surrounding woods and gardens. Inside the church, rest in the peaceful surroundings that are enhanced by many paintings.
